25 Jun – He may have only gotten a five-second cameo in his Hollywood debut with “Transformers: Age of Extinction”, but Han Geng is given a chance to shine via the movie’s Chinese theme song, “Who Control”.
According to Sina, the release of “Who Control” marks the first time that a Hollywood movie has used a Chinese song as its theme. The song will also be played in some of the main scenes of the movie, and has already been released online.
Previously, fans of the singer expressed dissatisfaction after it was reported that Han Geng’s supposed starring role in the movie only lasted for what can only be called a cameo, unlike his co-star Li Bingbing, who was at least given more dialogue and a few fight scenes.
"Transformers: Age of Extinction", starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, and Kelsey Grammer will be released in cinemas this 26 June 2014.
