Han Geng recently donated 200,000 RMB (approximately $32,375 USD) to One Foundation and is urging others to help out in any way that they can. Every little bit counts!
The English version of the One Foundation website is not up to date (during the publishing of this post), but I have checked the Chinese version and they are indeed focused on earthquake relief efforts in Sichuan right now.
Rural areas have been devastated by the earthquake, with whole towns in complete shambles and water, electricity and roads cut off throughout. Aftershocks continue to shake the region, which is mountainous and vulnerable to landslides. The death toll and number of injured people needing extensive care continue to rise.
Fast and effective relief efforts are crucial for preventing further loss of life. Please help in any way you can (whether it be through donations, direct aid or sending good thoughts) and #PrayforSichuan #LoveLife!
